My name is Augustine, am a teacher working in Kota Kinabalu Sabah. Enjoyed my life here in the Land below the Winds. Great people, great culture and of course breathtaking views. This city is truly blessed for being sandwiched between beaches that are miles long, islands close enough that scuba diving can be a daily pursuit, and majestic mountain ranges. I am truly proud to be a city dweller of Jesselton, old name of KK.
I am also proudly a member of the society of rainbows since 2007. Living a life which can be very stressful yet liberating at times. Being a PLU means you will not plan your life like every Tom, Dick and Harry around you. That makes ALL the difference in your life.
In the free time i enjoy going out with friends, heading to the gym for classes ( used to follow Les Mills Programmes religiously) , recently i have taken up long distance running. It never came to my mind that i could ever run for 12 km without even having to stop to catch for breathe until this year. I hope to be able to run a half-marathon next year, maybe during the next edition of the Borneo International Marathon.
I have a special someone, his name is Lance and he is a very nice guy. We hope to settle down in a stable relationship.
This blog will be a chronicle of my life in Borneo. I hope to write in regularly to share my thoughts and ideas and my life happening... keep in tune for more to come.
